A noble beast that was! In a way, it was a shame to end its life, but as with any time when two foes clash, only one will walk away. Although if my particular foe had won, it would've flown away. But that's not the point! The point is that the score with Eris has been evened.

Not that I am the type to let my heart burn itself out with the need for vengeance, ha ha! Don't get the wrong idea. What she did was a slight against a good friend and, through him, myself. And an insult should be answered to.

May Eris's great eagle rest in peace, if there is any peace to be had for the beasts that serve the gods. I will always remember...

Very well then! The bird belonged to the goddess Eris - it was a great eagle by the name of Aquila I believe. Most of her other beasts were slain as well, though not by me.

Understandable! I simply wanted to make sure. I'm relieved to know I haven't just revealed myself to one of Eris's servants, though I'm also sorry that you're suffering due to the actions of my comrades and I.

Simply put, a group of warriors from the community organized in order to stand up to Eris and the chaos that she has begun to spread. We did so by destroying several of her godly beasts while she was distracted elsewhere.

I am glad! Surely someone here has the skill to undo so fiendish a curse. Were you affected as well?

I know little of what she had been doing personally, but many had observed her manipulating people to her will. She also blackmailed a good friend of mine, forcing him to hurt people he was close to in order to regain his powers. I...was the one he ended up hurting. I bear him no ill will for it now, since he had to do it - and by choosing me he spared others suffering, which I can endure. But that does not excuse Eris herself!

Ah, Tenten..! Your concern is heartwarming..! I will concede that it was risky, but it was a risk I wanted to take. Eris seems to have made enemies with more members of the community than just Jack Frost and those she forced him to attack. Call it foolish, call it selfish, but...I do not regret it.
